Learning about the natural world: from classroom lectures and laboratories in Clinton, South Carolina, to diving along the Great Barrier Reef in Australia, to hiking into the depths of the Grand Canyon in Arizona, and even walking amongst the blue-footed boobies and giant tortoises on the Galapagos Islands. Biology majors at Presbyterian College get more than just a "book" introduction to the variety of life that can be seen in the world around us. They learn about life itself in a hands-on, close-up manner. They are a part of a curriculum that enhances their perceptions of the natural world by observing it in a myriad of ways.
